Delivery Information
Everything you need to know about dispatch, delivery and receiving your order.
Last updated: September 2026
1. Delivery Areas
Hampers for Horses currently delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom, subject to any delivery restrictions shown at checkout.
Some locations, including certain remote or offshore areas, may incur additional delivery charges or take longer to reach.
Available delivery options and charges will be shown before you complete your order.
2. Dispatch Times
We aim to prepare and dispatch orders as quickly as possible.
Standard non-personalised orders will normally be dispatched within 4 working days.
Orders containing personalised or made-to-order items may take longer to prepare. Any additional preparation time will be shown on the relevant product page where possible.
Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will normally begin processing on the next working day.
3. Delivery Times
Orders are normally sent using a tracked delivery service. Estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout and may vary depending on the service selected.
Please remember that dispatch time and delivery time are separate. Personalised products may require additional preparation before they are ready to be dispatched.
4. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated and displayed before you complete checkout.
We aim to offer a reliable and good-value tracked delivery service. The delivery options available for your order will be shown at checkout.
Delivery costs may vary depending on the size and weight of your order and the delivery destination.
5. Personalised Orders
Personalised items require additional time because they are prepared individually for each customer.
If your order contains both personalised and non-personalised products, we will normally dispatch the order together once all items are ready, unless we agree otherwise.
Please take any stated personalisation lead time into account when ordering for birthdays, Christmas or other special occasions.
6. Order Tracking
Where tracking is available for your chosen delivery service, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided when you placed your order.
Please check your email address carefully at checkout to ensure you receive your order confirmation and any delivery updates.
7. Delivery Address
Please make sure the delivery address entered at checkout is complete and accurate.
If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to amend the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made once your order has entered the packing or delivery process.
8. Missed or Unsuccessful Deliveries
If nobody is available to receive your parcel, the courier may:
- leave it in an agreed safe place;
- leave it with a neighbour;
- attempt delivery again; or
- provide instructions for collection or redelivery.
The exact procedure will depend on the courier used.
Please follow any instructions provided by the delivery company.
9. Parcels Marked as Delivered
If tracking shows that your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check:
- around your property and any nominated safe place;
- with other members of your household;
- with neighbours where appropriate; and
- any photograph or delivery information provided by the courier.
If you still cannot locate the parcel, please contact us and we will help investigate with the delivery provider.
10. Damaged Parcels
Please inspect your parcel when it arrives.
If the outer packaging or products have been damaged during delivery, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where possible, please include photographs of:
- the outer packaging;
- the internal packaging; and
- any damaged items.
Please keep the packaging while we investigate, as the courier may require evidence.
Your rights in relation to faulty or damaged goods are not affected.
11. Delayed Deliveries
Occasionally deliveries may be delayed because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, courier disruption or unusually high seasonal demand.
If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will try to keep you informed.
If delivery cannot be completed within an agreed timeframe, your legal rights will still apply.
12. Christmas and Busy Periods
Delivery networks can become especially busy around Christmas, Black Friday, bank holidays and other peak periods.
During these times, both preparation and courier delivery may take longer than usual.
We recommend placing time-sensitive or personalised orders as early as possible.
Where we publish a recommended Christmas ordering deadline, this will be a guide rather than an absolute guarantee unless we specifically state otherwise.
13. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details supplied by the customer.
If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incorrect, incomplete or the parcel was not collected, we will contact you to discuss redelivery.
Additional postage charges may apply where redelivery is required because incorrect delivery information was supplied.
14. Responsibility for Your Order
We remain responsible for your goods while they are being delivered by a delivery service arranged by Hampers for Horses.
Responsibility normally passes to you once the goods are delivered into your possession or to another person you have nominated to receive them.
15. Contact Us About Delivery
